OOOOhhh... you gotta' go check out the "real" site on this one.
It was great fun to have a Murder Mystery business as a client. They had a web site already, (most already do when they hire me) but wanted to update it.
Without using FLASH animation (you know, flash animation is not a good thing anymore), I worked with jquery scripts and created a home page "slider" (which presents a series of photos). This one, I guarantee, you have not seen before.
As you click through the photos (or just watch them move on their own) transparent shadows, of varying distance from the red curtain, MOVE at different rates in alignment with the movement of the photos.
This experience I wanted to be as close to being real, and theatrical, as the actual performers themselves.
