A terrifically talented man, who told tall tales (say that 5 times!) was the subject of this portrait.
After our discussion, a 1940s styled WPA style of illustration seemed to suit Rick's epic style.
This illustration was used enlarged and cropped as a portrait, and reduced as a poster and flyer.
I drew the initial sketch traditionally (on paper) scanned it, and then drew over the scan using vector drawing tools in Adobe Illustrator.
